She is certainly savvy, and of course I am rooting for her.

At the same time, there are commentators I respect (e.g., David Frum) who have argued forcefully that she will really be beholden to outgoing President AMLO. It is really an open question whether she will be able to forge her own path.

It will be fascinating to see how she and President Biden develop their diplomatic relationship in the 2nd Biden Administration ....

One thing that is rarely amplified is that the Biden Administration is staffed by the most qualified administrators possible, as I'm sure the Claudia Sheinbaum Administration will also be.

I found this comment to be disappointing.

I have been visiting this site (and its predecessors) for over 20 years, but I have posted probably fewer than 10 times. A key reason is due to responses like this. (I now only post when something really gets my goat.) Can we not discriminate or be exclusionary based on one's post count?

If memory serves, my first post was placed midway through AR's second season. I asked whether his passing stats his second year were not as good as his first because his WRs his second season were not as good (a point by which I still stand, darngunnit!). I was annihilated. I was called a troll. Mocked for having only a single post. I did not post again for many many years.

Sure, I suppose, low count posters could sunshine post hundreds of messages (e.g., "Ott for the Heisman!") or blast board favorites (e.g., "Fire Knowlton!), but we shouldn't have to do so to avoid such treatment.

And thing is that pleasant valley bear's post was certainly not out of bounds, and not worthy of such mockery.

Can we not discriminate, mock, or exclude persons based on their post count? Stopping this practice would only increase the breadth of the people who post on here. I, for one, would love to hear from more voices.

while we shouldn't simply attack a poster for a low post count, you do have to understand this is a fairly tight community unlike, say, reddit or something similar. a lot of people that come in with 'hot' opinions out of left field (e.g. a handful of posts) tend to have agendas and/or are here specifically to troll. it isn't 'just' the community being excessively conservative/reactive.

technically the WRs were fine (and mostly the same as 2003) but they all got hurt. when healthy they were probably better than 2003 (due to extra experience), but the offense was never the same after Lyman went down against USC. Toler and Geoff also got hurt, and Jordan wasn't quite ready for prime time which was evident in the bowl game.
