
Cal Football To Host 2025 Fan Day
BERKELEY – The California football team will open the gates to California Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 23, for the public to observe the final day of fall training camp, admission-free. Beginning at 2 p.m. PT, fans will be able to watch the Golden Bears in action and enjoy a myriad of activities on Lisa and Douglas Goldman Plaza.
Scheduled activities include:
Cal football practice.
Kids Zone, featuring games, inflatable toys, face painting and photo booth.
Food trucks and concessions for sale.
Official Cal merchandise available for purchase.
Special performances by Cal Band & Spirit.
Appearance by Oski.
Post-practice meet & greet and autograph session with select players.
Fans will get a first look at the 2025 Bears during open practice and Justin Allegri, the Voice of the Bears, will host an on-field show throughout the day and, welcome General Manager Ron Rivera, Travers Family Head Football Coach Justin Wilcox, Co-Defensive Coordinators Terrence Brown and Vic So'oto and Offensive Coordinator Bryan Harsin, among others, to the stage for live interviews.
Prior to the event, Allegri and Cal Hall-of-Fame quarterback Mike Pawlawski will host a live radio show on KNBR from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. to preview the upcoming season.
California Memorial Stadium Location/Parking/Transportation Options
California Memorial Stadium is located at 2227 Piedmont Avenue in Berkeley between Bancroft Way and Stadium Rim Way, adjacent to the Simpson Center for Student-Athlete High Performance. Public transportation and ride sharing is highly recommended when visiting California Memorial Stadium. There are multiple public transportation options.

Parking in the vicinity is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please read all signs at each parking location for further important information. See below for some suggestions in order of proximity to the stadium.
Stadium Parking Garage – Paid parking near corner of Gayley Road (where Piedmont Avenue becomes Gayley Road) and Stadium Rim Way just north of the stadium
Street Parking – Paid and two-hour free parking may be available on streets near the stadium
Lower Sproul Garage – Paid parking on the north side of Bancroft Way between Telegraph Avenue and Dana Street
Rec Sports Facility Garage – Paid parking on the north side of Bancroft Way between Dana Street and Ellsworth Street
Underhill Garage – Paid parking on the corner of Channing Way and College Avenue
