I just heard a news bit about security at these games and they reviewed the 96 Atlanta centennial park bombing where Richard Jewell, the actual hero who cleared the crowd before explosion, was falsely accused.
Eric Rudolph was the actual perpetrator, but it took years to identify him, after clues from 3 other abortion clinic bombings yielded a partial license plate.
