"According to The Yale Daily News, at Yale University, 14% of its entering class identifies as African American, 24% as Asian American, 19% as Hispanic or Latino, 3% as Native American and 46% as white."

For a school located in the east coast, that percentage doesn't seem unreasonably low. Asians represent 7% of US population, and probably close to half of the foreign student contingent.
