The more important aspect of the Springfield OH story here is that government agencies and the NGO complex have placed 20,000 Haitian illegal migrants into a rural community of 60,000.
That is not good policy, to say the least, it's bound to lead to some problems locally.
As well, given that Ohio is arguably the most important swing state historically speaking, ahveing for instance decided the 2004 elections (in which there was serious fraud with the electronic vote tabulation done by Rove operatives), you also have to wonder if there weren't also political motivations there.
Lol... you don't know the difference between legal and illegal. You gotta keep stop falling for the fake news.
Also, thinking that Ohio a state that Trump won twice by 8 points is in play is laughable.

So those are illegals who were granted a legal status as part of a planned demographic scheme. Because there is no way in hell that Haitians would have chosen on their own volition to locate in Hickville, OH, as opposed to near their large communities in major cities in NY/NJ and FL.
There are two things that really pi## me off about this scheme with Haitian illegals, is that there are many law-abiding people who want to immigrate to the US who are far better candidates (including college graduates from Africa) that have to jump through many bureaucratic hoops and are often denied residency on technicalities, while the NGO migrants are actively brought in, financed and herded along these demographic schemes.
The even more egregious aspect here is that the US is actively engaged in destabilizing Haiti and keeping it in a state of abject poverty, a foreign policy that has been in place for decades, and includes the assassination of several Hatian presidents who tried to improve their countries. This is what has pushed struggling Haitians to migrate north. Haiti has the world's cheapest labor, exploited by a garment industry catering to Gap, Hanes and many other US brands. Slavery has not ended in the Americas... In the past you had humanitarian luminaries like Hilary Clinton who personally intervened to scuttle attempts to raise minimum wage in Haiti, and to place her brother on the board of a local gold mining interest created under her watch.
The endresult of all this is what we are seeing now in places like Springfield OH. The story is the same in Europe with millions of displaced Syrians an Sahel Africans risking their lives and streaming into France, Italy, Germany etc because US policy (hello again Hillary, and before her Dubya) has destroyed Syria, Libya and is actively destabilizing many countries across west Africa.
Just wanted to respond to this because it is conspiratorial and knee-jerk anti-immigrant nonsense. Springfield was a dying town of old white people. They WANTED to attract immigrants, sought to do so, and the Haitians obliged by moving in and then inviting more from their community to come join them. The city has seen economic improvement as a result:
Are there growing pains and culture clashes as a result? Yes. But this is no different from any other time a new immigrant group moves to the US. Eventually people get used to it. You're still better off with a replenished population base than a dying town where people only move out.
Excellent points. Please see my prior posts on book "Empty Planet":
1) Mankind globally is deciding as a lifestyle choice to have fewer kids.
2) Below 2.1 kids per woman is below replacement rate. All of Europe, North America and some Asian are below. Much of S America, too. Rates above, in Africa and India, are declining rapidly.
3) there is a direct correlation between expanding population rate and economic prospects.
4) therefore, those countries which attract immigrants will be economically better off. Therefore, MAGA anti immigrant talk is not only morally wrong, it's an ECONOMIC LOSER.
