Yes, but he felt he had a second term coming, now he just has two years and he is 78, might change his strategy

Just based on this clip, I couldn't disagree with this guy more. The middle is about common sense policies and solutions, avoiding the stupid-ass crap on both the far right and far left. Let's call it compassionate capitalism. Naturally, we are going to catch criticism from both sides.

George W Bush wasn't some genius who played off the far left to win; he was a folksy guy of only modest intelligence.

Obama wasn't without a vision, but there was only so much he was going to be able to get done, so he tempered his vision so that he could be in office for two terms, accomplishing what he could.

He may have even less time with the amount of assassination attempts he tends to accumulate

I really wish this wasn't true (shouldn't be this way with any president), but I think you are right. I will be surprised if he makes it through the 4 years; they should be careful to keep him and Vance separated.

With his diet and overall poor health, he might take care of it himself. He could be just one more bucket of KFC away from a stroke or cardiac incident.

Bill Maher will upset the left from time to time but he's still a Democrat through and through.

I think the real Bill Maher is the one he shows on his podcast. The Politically Incorrect Maher will throw red meat to conservatives from time to time because he tries to use his fake impartiality to give himself legitimacy amongst a larger audience. Btw, I use to believe he was fairly impartial, but he fell hook line and sinker of nearly every manufactured Trump conspiracy. He even downplayed the contents of the Hunter laptop in regards to evidence Biden was getting paid off by foreign adversaries.
