That being the case, why is it remotely relevant that Trump is such a sweetie in a private setting? Hasn't Bill heard that there is no such thing as an elite con man that is without charm?

The by product of this seduction of Maher was Steve Hilton and Karoline Leavitt being on his show yesterday.

Leavitt was the opening interview. She has mastered the art of holding a Cheshire Cat smile for an entire interview (like she was being interviewed by the Rush Committee at the Kappa House). When she expressed pity for her successor, Katie Zacharia, she added that Press Secretary is "the toughest job in Washington." This had me wondering how tough can a job be when you don't have to know facts or tell the truth, but simply ab lib bullsh@it and sling insult comic one liners at the media.

With regard to Steve Hilton, he engaged in some anemic Trump distancing, yucked it up in his blue blazer lined with the Stars and Stripes and the Bear Flag and played the role of Mr. Moderate. He gives wankers a bad name.

Often there is a ton of whining here if you post in a prior thread under a thread with a title (even though the threads often stray from the thread topic and no really are about that topic title at all). For example, anything about Nathalie Harp today will likely be needed to a thread from 3-4 weeks ago that probably strayed into a discussion of Margo or Zacharia. The whines are usually used to censor and claim spamming when it is really a new topic to discuss.

I guess we have a limited supply of topic threads.

If this is truly your perception and not part of some made up clueless character, self awareness is not your strong suit.

I guess Trump, or Maher's new boss Ellison, got to Bill again. Ted Cruz is on hawking a book he wrote about Clarence Thomas and lying through his teeth.

Bill said he believed Anita Hill was harassed by Thomas. Cruz said harassers always have a pattern and never do it just once and Thomas never had a pattern. Maher had no rebuttal.

Too bad Bill was unaware that there were multiple women willing to testify that they were harassed by Thomas but the Chair of the Confirmation Hearing, Joe Biden, would not allow the evidence in.

Kid Rock is on the panel with the Axios founder.

I was hoping Maher would ask Ted Cruz why his dad killed JFK but he didn't. I for sure would have.
