I don't know that anyone needs to debate the merits of the J6 investigation or the insanity of the calls to prosecute those who investigated.

And this thread will go nowhere because the country is now divided between the sane, the insane, and the utterly uninformed or ignorant, and nothing appears possible in changing that.

But it should be posted simply for the record, that a group of Republican lawmakers is following Hitler's, er uh, Trump's call to prosecute those seeking truth and democracy.

I despise all who think this is anything other than the insane ruination of our nation. And I suspect that this is merely the first of hundreds of subsequent horrors to play out upon our (less) great nation, as a result of the Nov 2024 election.

It's a sad sad day, month, year, era.

I would not pardon any J6 investigators and if I was one of them, I would not accept it.

If individuals violated the law, the prosecutor meets his burden of proof, and the jury convicts, then sentence them pursuant to federal sentencing guidelines.

If the prosecution of an involved individual turns out to have been baseless and unmerited, then upon resolution of the matter in favor of the defendant, the defendant should file a state court action against the federal government for malicious prosecution and for all damages recoverable under law.

I ask myself what would Dick Cheney do in a situation like this? Muck around with the legal system? No. Throw hoods over them, duct tape their hands bring them to a black site and water board them. Sure, it's your daughter but national security is at stake.

Go back and look at the whole video that you posted here previously of J6. It was peaceful.

Look up all the evidence of pelosi blocking the request for the national guard presence

Look up individual cases of people and their actions and their sentencing.

Stop believing the legacy media and the globalists who continue to try to control the entire world.

Stop being the horribly misinformed

Dude committed a vigilante style political murder. Why on earth would you pardon this??

If he does or doesn't get convicted by his peers, doesn't matter. Why pardon someone for cold murder? What are you trying to accomplish?

I'm shock, this sounds insane, where usually we agree. I truly don't understand.

Sorry, but because you've proven yourself in the past to be full of **it, you have been placed on Ignore. It's no use responding to your bull**it lies.

Please accept that you are unlikely to receive resolves from me or that your posts will even be read by me.

From what I've heard about this over the years, trump can always issue a pardon for himself, but whether court accept it remains an open question.

There's only one way to find out: have a witch-hunt and see.

Some legal scholars claim that Presidents can't pardon themselves. But the plain language of the Constitution only limits pardons in a 2 ways: 1) must be a Federal offense; and 2) cannot pardon for impeachment. A court case also claims the President cannot prospectively pardon (can pardon "after" an offense has been committed).

Good.
State forces will be ready to get his ass in 4 years. If a rando assassin doesn't get him first.

I've never heard of Luke Beasley. Not much of an influencer in my mind.
