I never had trouble getting eggs in northeast Oregon. There may not have been all the normal brands and the shelves weren't full, but there was always some eggs available. I even saw marked down eggs the other day, presumably because they were near the sell by date.

Heck we even have tons of small farmers out here who sell eggs on the side of the road for pretty cheap. Really the best option out where i live since the eggs are about as fresh as you can get. Lot of ranches out here.

About 10 or 12 years ago, I had a coworker that kept a flock of chickens in her backyard. She would sell me a dozen eggs a week from "her girls" for $5. Those eggs were the best. I was sad when she moved away to South Carolina.
