If Trump hates Powell's job performance and interest rate policy so much, then why hasn't he FIRED him?

So President Trump's mandate to bring down prices is clearand yet he hasn't picked up the phone or driven across Washington, D.C., to meet with the man who directly influences the metric.

That may be because on some level, he knows he can't.

This is Donald Trump were talking about who FIRES anyone that gets in his way. Powell is in his way, or are you really that TONE-DEAF given Trump's constant berating of Powell in public?

These tariffs are self inflicted wounds and Powell wont be lowering rates. If anything, he'll have to start RAISING them again. Im sure that will make the stable genius extremely happy ... as inflation makes new highs for the cycle.
