Lots of kids of all races have incredible opportunities because of the US public education system. Unfortunately, family, individual, and cultural barriers stifle success, and these kids stay impoverished with little hopes of success. It is difficult for these kids to succeed when folks around them criticize their opportunities and focus on giving them excuses instead of driving them to succeed. The OP appears to be one of these folks.

Now more than ever, kids don't need education. Why bother, when everybody can grow up to be a rich and famous influencer?
