How to deal with the constant stream of shameless lies from Trump and his allies?

There's a lot of frustration with the rather weak Democratic Party counter-attacks against the endless lies promulgated by the Trump Administration.

It is time for the Democratic Party to have an effective 24-hour "Rapid (i.e., 'immediate') Response Team". This would be the primary source reporters could rely on for the official Democratic counter-arguments.

Obviously this is just a partial solution, but why hasn't this been done already?
