This is a complete fantasy, about as bad as believing that the Russians are going to overrun Germany. Islamophobia is fed to the right wing, and russophobia to the left-leaning audience. The two propaganda programs have been pretty successful.

Back to the main issue, the German establishment has won big today. I think Trump and Musk campaigning for the AfD has backfired big time, costing them at least 5% of the vote.

The other big win for the establishment is that they kept anti-establishment left wing Sarah Wagenknecht at 4.9%, just below the 5% threshold at which point her party would have had nearly 10% of Bundestag seats, instead at 4.9% she gets nothing, or zilch, to use the appropriate term.

If we can trust German elections.

I guess those terrorist attacks on Christmas markets are fantasies.

The underlying issue is the high Muslim birth rate, high Middle Eastern immigration, and low German birth rate. This same issue is replicating across Europe. Many scholars think France, Sweden, and the UK are lost. When Muslims reach a larger proportion, they establish Shari courts, mosques explode, and more family reunification. Native populations don't protest, worried about being labeled as racist or xenophobic. Some claim a decent percentage of Muslim men have multiple wives. The UK saw over 10,000 millionaires exit the country, while hundreds of thousands more low-skilled workers move in.

All this while Germany is losing high-paid industrial factories, car factories, fueled by sky-high energy prices and unpredictability.

I'm losing track of all the Aryan virgins being raped by the Muslim hordes- German, Swedes , Finns.

I'm blaming all the European men who are too drunk and passed out in the sauna to service or defend their women

Initial results show German conservative Merz with clear election win

Yet, the man projected to be chancellor has gained support by moving more far right, especially in regards to immigration.

So, you are xenophobic?
You don't say?
I don't suppose you speak any foreign languages, or have lived elsewhere as a minority.

Your assumptions are often incorrect. I am a minority in my city, and it is not that big of a deal. I can speak Spanish, but I am far from fluent.

I've been to Berlin and spent time in East Germany (Dresden).

Have you ever been to Germany?

The criminal elements within the large Muslim communities in western Europe are mostly non-believers. That's one of the main reason the narrative that is pushed by those X accounts above don't hold water.

It is quite evident that the past few decades have seen mass immigration into W. Europe that is far greater than the ability of German, French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish and other countries to absorb them, resulting in economic and social dislocation and the emergence of a large minority of young male newcomers engaging in criminal and antisocial activities. This problem is compounded by very lax and uneven law enforcement and legal prosecution, not unlike what we have with Soros-funded DAs and judges over here.

It doesn't make much difference whether these immigrants are from say, Muslim Algeria or Mali, or Christians from Cameroon or Nigeria, you see a lot of the same patterns across different communities in different host countries.

The early immigrant communities from the 1960s-90s, like the Turks in Germany or Maghrebans in France, South Asians in the UK fared much better and had lower crime rates than the more recent (and larger) waves. Unemployment was low, infrastructures (schools, housing etc) were better. Today you have large encampments, ghettoised housing and fewer opportunities for unskilled labor, a critical mass of immigrants which makes their integration more difficult, and failing institutions (education, law enforcement,)

BTW what Tommy and his ilk will not cover is that the biggest child/women trafficking operations in Europe today are sourced by Ukrainian mafias, many based in Poland and other European countries. Those criminals, as you can imagine, are not Muslim. At the head of that operation you have people like Kiec mayor Kiltschko. There are 200,000 Ukrainian sex workers in Berlin alone, this gives you an idea of the volume of this trade, built on the misery of Ukrainian women. There are well over 1 million widows and orphans in Ukraine today, a very deep pool for that sordid and lucrative market.

I guess she must be Islamaphobic. s/

She's a left populist - anti- corporation, anti capitalist, pro redistribution of wealth, anti NATO

We need such a party without the authoritarian parts

The conclusion is correct (CDU won, AfD lost) but I'm not sure the interpretation is right.

AfD doubled it's vote tally from 10.4 to 20.8 and not quite doubling its seat count (83>152).
CDU improved by 4 points to @28% and 11 seats to 208.

The real story here is a relative collapse of the left as evidenced by the center / right gaining nearly 15% of the vote. It won't manifest that way for the voters in the make up of their government or policy, since CDU will not form a government with AfD, but that's the big picture out of Germany.

I'm not sure the left collapsed. Scholz collapsed in response to Germany's faltering economy. He was replaced by another centrist who promised better times. I don't think he is regarded as "left" having a number of parties further left and he governed like the centrist he is.

More importantly in Germany- unlike here- you can vote for someone among the many parties as opposed to not voting or holding your nose. Thus, turnout over 80% instead of 64%

Certainly Afd did well though less well than expected at around 20%. The Greens and FDP party also lost votes but both are also neo liberal. OTOH the Left party surged to 9% propelled by younger voters and the populist left remnants of communism was at 5%.. So a strong protest among the left

The Linke (left in German) and NSW together represent nearly 15%, which is a record for the left in post-war Germany.
