*Trump's paranoid delusional state was on full display during his rant.

**There are limits to prosecutorial immunity. Any prosecutor that pursues one of Trump's baseless prosecutions of a political enemy may find themselves relieved of their law license, or worse, at the end of this reign of terror.

*** Ex Madame DA Pamela Price had problems fielding competent prosecutors to man her pet political prosecutions because they didn't want to lose their law licenses. She ended up using political hack hires that stepped on their dicks and f'd up the cases anyway.

DOJ attorney placed on leave after expressing frustration in court with government over mistakenly deported man | CNN Politics

https://www.cnn.com/2025/04/05/politics/doj-attorney-leave-maryland-father-deportation/index.html

It is one thing when Trump demands that his personal attorneys misrepresent and out right lie to a court, it is another when they want a federal prosecutor to do that.

This prosecutor refused to follow orders from Bondi that constituted a violation of the Canons of Ethics (as well as other statutes). If Bondi terminates him, he will eventually get reinstated with back pay (at least after Trump's control over the system is released) and Bondi will face charges. She will join a long line of Trump attorneys that lost their law licenses…..and Trump? "I GOT IMMUNITY, BABY, SUCK IT!"

* Once you purge your prosecutorial staff of ethical and experienced prosecutors, you end up with a fleet of loyalist political hacks with no ethics incapable of even prosecuting a traffic ticket.

Justice Dept. to pull back on some cryptocurrency investigations

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2025/04/08/trump-crypto-fraud-doj-enforcement/

"The Justice Department has directed prosecutors to limit their pursuit of some cryptocurrency crimes, the latest example of the Trump administration pulling back on white-collar criminal enforcement.

…… Blanche also said he would disband the National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team, which was established in 2022 to "address the challenge posed by the criminal misuse of cryptocurrencies and digital assets." The team was composed of Justice Department attorneys with backgrounds in cryptocurrency, cybercrime and money laundering.

….. Trump promised during the election to ease regulation and enforcement against crypto companies, which helped his campaign shore up donations among tech investors and digital assets executives who said they had been persecuted by the Biden administration's efforts to regulate the relatively nascent market.

….. Days before the inauguration, the president and first lady Melania Trump began selling meme coins to the dismay of industry insiders, who viewed the speculative venture as a conflict of interest.

In September, Trump and his sons announced the launch of World Liberty Financial, a new crypto venture. The business plans to sell a stablecoin, as the White House works with lawmakers to develop legislation that would regulate these forms of cryptocurrencies that are backed by the dollar."

*It's every scammer's soggy dream to have the power to neuter the law enforcement agency that goes after scammers. When Trump's disciples lose all their money when it flows into the Trumps' pockets after the scheme collapses, they will be coming out of that proverbial bathroom with just their schwanzes in their hands.

*Naked power is when you can do the stuff you used to have to hide right out in the open in the town square and then give the finger to anyone that calls you on it.

In the 1980's one of my partners and I sued a savings and loan for the wrongful termination of our client. The board of directors claimed they were told by the Feds to fire her (the S & L had FDIC coverage). They couldn't subpoena the Feds to corroborate their defense and it was inadmissible as hearsay without the Feds testimony so they went with Plan B…..that they had good cause for termination. Our client prevailed in the action. Demand: $120K;* offer: $10,000; Damage award by jury: $1.2M. Oops!

*The Demand was based on the client's express wishes that she did not want to be involved in a lawsuit and would be very happy to get 2 years lost wages.

Alina Habba humiliated by five-word comment from federal judge

https://www.irishstar.com/news/us-news/alina-habba-humiliated-five-word-35279918?utm_source=app

"Federal Judge Andre M. Espinosa told Alina Habba, the counselor to President Trump and interim US attorney for New Jersey, and her office to "operate with a higher standard" regarding her office's "hasty arrest" and then dismissal of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka for trespassing earlier this month.

Your role is not to secure convictions at all costs, nor to satisfy public clamor, nor to advance political agendas," Espinosa said to Habba. "Your allegiance is to the impartial application of the law, to the pursuit of truth and to the upholding of due process for all.

"Your office must operate with a higher standard than that," he added."

Alina may not know the difference between an alligator and an allegation in the courtroom, but what she does know is how to competently Rock a bikini at the Beach Club pool at Mar a Lago.

Trump's base is losing patience over 'deep state' promises | AP News

https://apnews.com/article/epstein-files-assassination-trump-fbi-conspiracies-aaeb07814bb8b6b3fe595f5b68e4163a

"His Justice Department has not yet arrested hordes of "deep state" actors as some of his supporters had hoped it would, even as the president has been posting cryptic videos and memes about Democratic politicians.

"People are tired of not knowing," conservative commentator Damani Felder said on podcaster Tim Pool's show last week. "We actually demand answers and real transparency. It's not that hard to deliver."

Now that Trump is in power and has stocked loyalists throughout his administration, his supporters expect all to be revealed. Delivering on that is difficult when many of the conspiracies he alleged aren't real, said Joseph Uscinski, a political scientist who studies conspiracy theories at the University of Miami.

Even so, Trump's administration hasn't gone as far as many of his supporters would like. They want to see steps taken against people he has long claimed were involved in sinister plots against him, such as former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and former FBI Director James Comey. The administration also hasn't offered proof of the " egregious crimes " that Trump claims have corrupted the federal government for years."

Pam Bondi Axes Jan. 6 Prosecutors in 'Horrifying' Purge DNyuz

https://dnyuz.com/2025/06/28/pam-bondi-axes-jan-6-prosecutors-in-horrifying-purge/

"No one is safe from this administration's whims and impulses," the insider added. "And the public certainly is not served by the continued brain drain of DOJwe are losing the best among us every day."

Asked about the targeted FBI firings back in January, Trump said: "If they fired some people over there, that's a good thing, because they were very bad. They were very corrupt people, very corrupt, and they hurt our country very badly with the weaponization."

I'm confused. What does "weaponization" look like?

Trump's DOJ Adds Pardoned Jan. 6 Rioter to Its Retribution Team

https://www.thedailybeast.com/donald-trumps-doj-adds-pardoned-jan-6-rioter-jared-wise-to-its-retribution-team/

"A former FBI agent accused of inciting Donald Trump supporters to kill police officers during the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol has been given a job in the Department of Justice.

Jared Wise, who was charged but later pardoned by Trump along with more than 1,500 others connected to the 2021 Capitol riot, will serve as a counselor to Ed Martin, director of the "Weaponization Working Group," The New York Times reported.

The newly formed group, established by Attorney General Pam Bondi in February, was tasked with reviewing "politicized" actions against Trump but is seen as another example of the president using federal agencies for retribution against his political enemies.

The DOJ indicted Wise over his alleged role in the Jan. 6 attack in June 2023. Wise, of Bend, Oregon, was charged with multiple offenses, including assaulting, resisting, or impeding police officers….

Police camera footage showed Wise yelling at officers, "You're disgusting. You are the Nazi. You are the Gestapo," during the chaos at the Capitol.

When rioters began attacking police officers and knocking them to the ground, Wise allegedly incited further violence by repeatedly shouting, "Kill 'em," according to the indictment."

"Attorney General Pam Bondi has fired more than 20 Justice Department employees who worked on cases involving the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol and Donald Trump's handling of classified documents, sources told Axios.

Why it matters: The firings are part of a massive purge aimed at clearing DOJ of attorneys and support staff who took part in Special Counsel Jack Smith's prosecution of Trump for Jan. 6 and possessing classified documents unlawfully.

The new dismissals bring the total Smith-related firings to about 35.
About 15 more could face termination."

"Carol Leonnig and Aaron C. Davis, both Pulitzer Prize-winningWashington Post reporters, will be out Nov. 4 with "Injustice," billed as an investigation of "the subversion of the Justice Department over the last decade," starting with the department's "defensive crouch" in President Trump's first term.

Why it matters: "With a plethora of sources deeply embedded in the ranks of three presidencies," says the publisher, Penguin Press, "Leonnig and Davis reveal the daily war secretly waged for the soul of the department, how it has been shredded by propaganda and partisanship."

Leonnig announced this week that she's leaving The Post after 26 years and will start in September as a senior investigative correspondent at MSNBC, where she has been a contributor since 2017.

She tells Axios that the co-authors' "reporting found key leaders in the Justice Department and FBI shied away from investigating Trump's efforts to overturn the will of voters in 2020, and his refusal to return classified documents he took when leaving the White House in 2021."

"We knew we had a book in summer 2023," Leonnig added, "when Aaron and I learned the inside-the-room details of DOJ and FBI fighting over everything from whether to investigate early warnings of violent attacks on Jan. 6 to whether to conduct a surprise raid on Trump's club at Mar-a-Lago."
Axios

* If you ever want to get to the truth, the actual facts of what occurred during an event, Trump's announced version is a perfect reverse barometer. Trump's statements changing or making up alternate facts, and his outright lies and denials often contain information only the wrongdoer would have privy to, or are subliminal messages to release guilt.

"Less than five years after urging rioters to "kill" police at the Capitol, a former Jan. 6 defendant is working as a senior adviser for the Department of Justice, which has been dramatically remade under the second Trump administration…….

NPR also obtained the transcript of Wise's testimony, in which he acknowledged that he repeatedly yelled "kill 'em" as officers were being attacked and tried to explain his actions. Wise was not convicted of any crimes related to Jan. 6, due to President Trump's order to end all Capitol riot prosecutions."

A woman accused of fraud hired the AG's brother as her lawyer. Months later, DOJ dropped charges - ABC News

https://abcnews.go.com/US/woman-accused-fraud-hired-ags-brother-lawyer-months/story?id=124429973

"Federal prosecutors on Wednesday moved to dismiss criminal charges against a woman accused of fraud in Florida who was being represented in court by Brad Bondi, the brother of Attorney General Pam Bondi.

"The Biden Justice Department filed a criminal complaint against Carolina Amesty, a former Republican lawmaker, in mid-January -- just days before President Donald Trump took office. Amesty faced two counts of theft of government property related to COVID relief fraud and, if convicted, faced a maximum penalty of up to 20 years in prison…….

A Justice Department spokesperson said that Pam Bondi's relationship with her brother had no bearing on the outcome of the case..

The dropping of charges Wednesday was not the first legal victory Brad Bondi has scored during the Trump administration. He previously represented Trevor Milton, the disgraced Nikola founder who was sentenced to four years in prison for lying about the viability of his electric vehicle technology; Milton secured a pardon from President Trump in March.…..

Amesty, according to the case docket, retained Brad Bondi in December -- about three weeks after Bondi's sister, Pam Bondi, was nominated by then-President-elect Trump to serve as his attorney general."

Trump jumps into everything half cocked. When he started this Lawfare, he forgot that MAGAs are even bigger crooks:

"WASHINGTON (AP) Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and his wife, Angela, are longtime owners of a $1.5 million house in a gated community outside Dallas. In 2015, they snapped up a second home in Austin. Then another.

The problem: Mortgages signed by the Paxtons contained inaccurate statements declaring that each of those three houses was their primary residence, enabling the now-estranged couple to improperly lock in low interest rates, according to an Associated Press review of public records. The lower rates will save the Paxtons tens of thousands of dollars in payments over the life of the loan, legal experts say.

The records also revealed that the Paxtons routinely flouted lending agreements on some of their other properties."

On November 19, 2025 Attorney General Pam Bondi indicated she could not fully detail certain aspects of the Epstein files because they are related to an active federal investigation she recently ordered into Jeffrey Epstein's associates.

During a news conference, when asked about the release of files, Bondi committed to "follow the law with maximum transparency" but noted some material may be withheld to protect ongoing investigations and victim identities. The recently passed legislation forcing the release of the files includes exceptions for documents that would jeopardize an active federal investigation.

Bondi pledges 'maximum transparency' if DOJ is required to release Epstein files https://www.scrippsnews.com/politics/the-president/bondi-pledges-maximum-transparency-if-the-doj-is-compelled-to-release-epstein-files

Bondi's demeanor and memorized singular talking point to "follow the law with maximum transparency," made her press conference as bizarre as one conducted by Karoline Leavitt.

Bondi looks like she wants to throw up, which means there is still a conscience in there somewhere slowing being suffocated.
