I haven't heard anything about this until now. Could be. Portland is 200 miles away from me. I have a Walmart about a mile from my house. I drive past it nearly every day, so there's no need for me to go Walmart in Portland. I go to Portland about once every 2-3 years. I go to Seattle more often as I have family there.

My mom lives in Long Beach Washington with her third husband who has been there a long time. He used to love to go to Portland but not any more because it is trash. Yet he is still liberal.
