I respect MTG for speaking out to say she didn't do her job and screwed up. It would have been easy to keep her mouth shut and no one would have known. Still, she screwed up. At a bare minimum, she should have had her staff read it looking for hidden surprises. If she had been doing her job and voted against it as she claims she would do now, the bill would have failed by 1 vote instead of passing. It's hard to give her a pass on that.

This is one of a number of things that make her and MAGAts trash. She's not the only one to admit to not reading bills before voting on them from the MAGAt side.
