
I think the only thing some of us can do now is laugh at the absurdity of it all.
When they round up homeless people and batter them with clubs, we won't be outraged - we'll laugh, because it was all so predictable.
When the tanks are positioned on the National Mall as a display of strength, we won't scorn them - we'll laugh, because it was all so predictable.
When trains start running people in packed boxcars off, we won't feel nervous that this eerily feels somehow familiar - we'll laugh, because it was all so predictable!
