I can see that being true, because people living in houses all have coffee machines and don't use instant. Some Kellogg MBA in their marketing dept looked at a stat saying that most of their customers were renters, and a light bulb went on. Still a bad idea, because even if that were the case, that means that the Maxwell House name is more aspirational, and they would be downgrading the brand.
