What was the statement?

Basically Trump's planning to have the Navy launch missiles into Camp Pendleton this weekend as a show of force to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the US Marine Corps and to distract from the No Kings protests around the country. What could possibly go wrong with launching missiles into our own military base?

Oh, and damn the cost. We'll have 30 seconds of epic visuals.

Wow.
This is all just going to get worse, you know.
Wait until November 2026.
I give the country about 12 more months.

This was already proven false.

Care to place a wager on the level of civil strife in 12 months? On the quality of our elections? The satisfaction everyone has about the elections?

Better or worse than today?

I say WORSE!
And it's because we have a leader who wants it all to be worse. You must know that's true.

Must I?

Very unlikely Trump will send missiles into the Central Valley. That is Republican country, where most of the state's Republicans live, own and/or work farms, etc. I remember back in 2016 before the election driving from SF down I-5 to Los Angeles, and seeing hundreds of Vote Trump signs and not a single Vote Hilary sign.

I thought the initial post claimed Camp Pendleton firing range. Not Central Valley. I'm confused as to what we are talking about with all this firing talk.

As for Trump signs, yes, it's true, those have been everywhere.
Doesn't make him a good guy.
Nazi signs were everywhere, too.

All of that simply falls under the category of marketing, advertising. The accompanying political memes, proclamations , accusations and false stories are a form of marketing called propaganda.

When selling goods, it's an economic activity. When selling a candidate, it's propaganda. It's all under a psychological social science that is not my specialty.

Tomorrow (today, no kings) will be similar attempts to sway minds through these social psychological forces at work. But there will be fewer lies, fewer threats upon others.

A few cars got taken out but were classified as "acceptable collateral damage" for the 250th Anniversary Celebration.
