So there is regular diesel long haul truckers (and everyone) use. Congress has a federal tax on it. Then there's red dye diesel for agriculture use (farming tractors) which is exempt from this tax.
Trump has made some proclamation that truckers can use the tax free agricultural diesel (so dyed to indicate it's without the tax). But a major trucking organization warns truckers to not listen to Trump because only Congress has the right to tax.
