I'm sure he (maybe?) appears on cable news a lot.
So I was disappointed when Kimmel allowed Swalwell to announce his candidacy on his show. It just felt weird. Like, why is Kimmel putting his thumb on the scale for this guy? He shouldn't be putting his thumb on the scales for anybody!

Swalwell is confident and outspoken which is why he's invited on cable TV news, but I don't know if he has any political thoughts that have nothing to do with Trump. Everything being said revolves around attacking Trump.
This leads me to believe Swalwell was groomed since the first Trump admin to be an attack dog for the Party, a puppet if you will. And he's made a name for himself doing so.
