Another cool story.

Your personal attack is also noted.
As is your failure to recall that I have repeatedly said that I am not an EV guy.

My Porsche Macan GTS is currently at the Port of Emden waiting to get on a ship to Benicia.
It's not a Macan EV.

Thanks.

How could anyone fail to recall you're an ICE guy, you've posted it many, many times. There was no failure but let me recap the convo for you so you can understand why I posted what I posted.

Recap:
You posted that you'd buy a Rivian if you were to go the EV route. I posted a response that says Tesla is better in almost every aspect.

P.S. we know about your Macan. It's totally cool to be excited about something you purchase, I just made a relatively large purchase for myself and I'm stoked. When you talk about it a lot though, people stop being as excited for you.

Wags when you go on with the personal attacks.

I've drive multiple Teslas in the past and they are trash. Every owner I know that has had one for more than a year talks about how poor the construction is.

Not for me, and that personal attack was not appreciated

Weird. Every owner I have talked to loves their Tesla although there were some minor issues in the first production run of Model 3s nine years ago. We have a Model 3, three of my neighbors have Model Y's, and another has a Model X. My daughter's friend is about to come over. Her dad drives a Model X.

I know that there are a lot of Tesla owners (such as Dajo) who clearly were NOT happy with the way that Elon slashed prices and basically crippled the re-sale value of their vehicles. Can't imagine how poor the "trade-in" value is.
I would never own a Tesla. Only lease.

That's fine. We have had our Model 3 for 8 years and have gotten great value. We weren't asleep when Musk repeatedly stated his goals a long time ago that Tesla was to provide an inexpensive EV for the masses.

Cars are clearly a depreciating value proposition.

I never thought that my 2023 GT3 would appreciate in value.
But given that the MSRP is now at $235,800 it appears that it has indeed increased by $66,100

Yes, it is uncommon but some cars go up.

Battery tech is still evolving, EV prices are likely to level off or decrease in years to come, if there is no protectionism.

I ignored it the first two times you posted it in this thread but I have made zero personal attacks in any of the posts you have replied to. You might not like what I say but they aren't attacks. Have a great rest of your day.

As I recall, you said I had EDS.
Elon Derangement Syndrome.
Then you edited it.

His DOGE escapade was a FAILURE.
All it was ... was a bunch of gaslighting.

Im still waiting for my $500 check.
Duped again by Trump?

All he does is LIE.

Michael Bury is now short a handful of stocks reported as of last Tuesday.
Seems to be a bet that Ai is overvalued.

Apparently, Bury shorted TSLA at $416 just before their Q2 delivery update which shredded the stock.

Cool artwork, featuring the human hand and fingers!
Here's something I bet you didn't yet ponder:

Quote:

Humans have five digits because we inherited a 340-million-year-old skeletal blueprint from ancient water-to-land ancestors. The very first tetrapods had up to eight digits. Over time, evolution whittled this down to five, which provided the ideal balance of strength, dexterity, and joint stability for walking and grasping. While having an extra digit like a sixth finger could sometimes be handy, biology locked onto the five-digit pattern for three major reasons:

Extinction: The creatures that evolved with six, seven, or eight digits went extinct. Only the five-toed (pentadactyl) ancestors survived to pass on their genes, making five the default evolutionary "success story" for land vertebrates.

Genetic Constraints: Limb development is governed by specific genes (like the Hox genes). Modifying the number of digits is notoriously difficult for genetics to achieve without negatively affecting other vital body parts during early embryo growth.

Specialized Adaptation: Over millions of years, creatures didn't need to add digits, but many adapted by losing them to suit their environments. For instance, horses evolved a single robust digit (a hoof) for running on plains, while birds fused digits to support flight.

The older I get, the more I'm interested in such things, as opposed to which way the stock market will go tomorrow.
