It's shocking that the crude oil market continues to discount this shortfall.

As you know, the "shortfall" in 2022 with Russia/Ukraine conflict was only 3 million barrels and the market got to $120.

Of course, it wasn't really a shortfall that caused that spike as much as it was the "perception" that this oil from Russia never got to the market place, which it in fact did.

But this is an entirely different situation.

If in fact Iran still has 80 - 90% of their swift boats available for laying mines, that's clearly going to be problematic.
