Qatar Energy says that it could take 3 - 5 years to fully repair.

This could really hurt Belgium, Germany, etc. who had made long-term deals in March of 2022 with Qatar for LNG as a way of weaning itself off of Russian energy supplies.

It also hurts chip makers that need HELIUM.
Particularly in South Korea.

Yes, I live in a relatively expensive area of Los Angeles. Gas is $5.20 at Costco, $5.40 at Arco, and $5.90 at Chevron. I wanted to correct your misleading post. Gas is not over $8.00 in Los Angeles just because one gas station in the entire county showed gas that high for a short while.

Helium has unique properties.
