I believe POTUS routed the funding of the NATO war to war-hungry European elites.

No statesmen or pragmatists. Concede defeat, hand over land officially, declare a DMZ and / or European peace-keeping zone, rebuild Ukraine (if that is possible), and reconnect NS2. Europe can solve part of their financial and social problems by sending illegal immigrants home, but we'll see if they have the stomach for that soon.

Note that his numbers aren't correct, Ukrainian military deaths alone might be near 2 million, with no prospects of a military solution for them, just a terrible waste with hundreds of men kidnapped and forced to die on the front every day.
