Other swaths apparently thought "no foreign wars" meant total isolationism. Those are big cracks in the alliance. Plus, it's never been especially clear this movement has staying power beyond Trump.

I think that the America First campaign slogan was a lie.
Just like promising DOGE checks or Tariff Rebates.

He also campaigned on No New Wars.
And the U.S. no longer being the World's Policeman.

The alt-Right group that was attracted to all of the above supported him tooth and nail.
They've now felt betrayed.

People don't like being duped.

Obviously I wish nothing but the best for tequilla's son and I hope he is safe. But he and I discussed having a child in the military under Trump vs. somebody like Biden. Tequila said he felt more comfortable with Trump with his son in the military. Sounds like Tequila supports Trump's war.

No foreign wars meant not being involved in Ukraine/Russia and similar situations. It never meant what you took it to mean. Protecting US interests has always been on the table.
