I do not know the specifics but a reasonable bet is that a kid, struggling with pressure and depression and loneliness and the sink or swim world of Cal was overwhelmed. By no means is it enough or the only thing but the least we can do is lower the the pressure on these young adults that come from where they should be loved and accepted unconditionally.
