My sources on the street- impeccable Deep State- say it was a hit coordinated by Usha Vance and Gavin, Usha providing the brains and Gavin- because of his ties to the hood- the shooter. ( Maybe he could have done better than CalTech)

Anyway, motive was: " this is the only way we can get on the ballot in 2028."

I think the only way Vance could ever win a presidential election at this point would be Trump leaving office early, Vance assuming the presidency, and unwinding pretty much everything Trump has done in his second term. Otherwise he'll be painted as Trump Jr. just as Kamala was painted as Biden Jr. and that's a losing formula.

That article documented why this blame-shifting theory is so misguided and dangerous.

I want public officials to be pressured to tone down their rhetoric on both sides, but it can't be accomplished through the courts. They need to be shamed into it.
