100%
Elaine will be back in a couple weeks, she has a good trip she scheduled and didn't want to reschedule.

Well he could find it in his schedule mathematically. 20 minute time slots, say he did 8 hours of that spread from 6 am to 2 pm. If we do some simple math that's 24, 20 minute talks.
Math is fun.

The man is 84years old with several comorbidities, hasn't been in six weeks, has broken ribs, might have a cognitive deficit, and is recovering from a heart attack. He would be exceptional if he were able to adhere to a schedule like you describe. That is a heavy load to recover from.

LOL. The least surprising thing out of all this is that Jennings had what he thought was an intelligent 17 minute convo with a brain dead person.

I didn't say he did that. The question asked how could he, I explained how with simple math. It was very silly question to begin with.

I explained medically why your simple math was a stretch for an 84 y/o who just had a cardiac event with everything he has else going on was most likely implausible.

Have you ever talked to someone who just had a heart attack. Their recovery is brutal and long. This is the engine that runs the body. When it is not functioning correctly, it affects all body systems. If he had his chest cracked then even more so. Only 3 weeks out from the event he is still in.a lot of pain, extreme fatigue, and memory loss. There for I am questioning his cognitive ability to carry on a conversation of any significance other than basic conversation but, not discussing the various topics that others said he was able to discuss. Yes, math is just math but, he is 84 y/o, has had just 3 weeks of recovery and may still be in ICU or a step down unit if he is lucky. I am just giving you accurate info on his road to recovery.

No, I am not but there are certain physical and mental achievements and timelines when it comes to recovery from a heart attack that can't be avoided no matter how much you want. His recovery should be 7 to 12 months if he can recover from a cardiac event where CPR was performed.

Mitch McConnell Nears Dead-Linehttps://t.co/rB2hObGjwJ
— Ken Klippenstein (@kenklippenstein) July 8, 2026
Quote:
As 84-year-old Senator Mitch McConnell's witness-protection-grade hospitalization nears its fourth week, a key deadline looms: August 3.
Under Kentucky law, if McConnell is declared unfit for off before that date, there's a special election to fill out his term. After that date, the seat sits empty until whoever wins November's already-scheduled race is sworn in on January 3.
In a political system run by the sage leaders that people like McConnell imagine themselves to be, he would have stepped down so voters could have an orderly election and decide for themselves. Instead, we have a mad dash for partisan power.
A longtime Capitol Hill source tells me congressional Republicans don't want to risk a special election, fearing GOP voters might nominate a MAGA candidate over someone friendlier to their party establishment. Kentucky's Democratic governor, Andy Beshear, has now entered the fray, sending McConnell's office a letter today requesting a health update a first step, potentially, toward appointing an interim senator and flipping the seat blue. (This would require a constitutional challenge to the law described earlier.)
In either case, Republican or Democratic power grab, the voters of Kentucky are deprived of a meaningful say in who represents them.
Congress, meanwhile, only cares about itself. Lawmakers stayed almost completely silent about McConnell's unexplained absence for more than two weeks. During that stretch he missed more than 20 votes, including a knife-edge resolution to curb Trump's war powers over Iran. The reason is simple: nobody wants to invite scrutiny of health and fitness in a gerontocracy, especially when members on both sides of the aisle have something to hide.
