How does the fentanyl death rate compare between 2025 and 2020? Do you have any real evidence that's Trump strategy on fentanyl is not working or is it all just blowhardedness?

Recent Estimates (20242025): According to the National Safety Council Injury Facts, synthetic opioids like fentanyl accounted for 45,917 preventable deaths in 2024, marking a 34% decrease from the 2023 total. Provisional data through 2025 shows a continued downward trend in overall drug and synthetic opioid overdose deaths

a decrease, but it could be due to many users dying off??

I would suggest that given the fact that Fentanyl is 100 times more potent than morphine, it is absolutely unconscionable that the DEA allowed this drug to hit the streets in order to facilitate an investigation.

As little as 2 mgs of fentanyl can be lethal.
That's literally just 10 - 15 grains of table salt.

How many Americans died because of this "policy" by the DEA?

DEA Leadership

DEA has actually done this for years .. given that the number of deaths has decreased given that it is more potent could be a sign that enforcement is being somewhat successful, but my guess is facts mean nothing to you

Or as you initially suggested, more people are DYING from it.

In the case of fentanyl, the DEA couldn't be more wrong.
This isn't a drug operation involving drugs like cocaine or oxy that aren't even remotely as fatal as fentanyl.

Even if the current policy is extremely effective in cutting down fentanyl overdoses, you are against it because it hurts your feelings and you have a sudden sense of morality that you can't sacrifice one life for the lives of many? To me, this just sounds like more evidence of your TDS.

This is standard operating procedure for law enforcement and has been for years. Once again the dems claiming something is Trump's fault when it's a well established and normal procedure.

Oski and Oak are on it. Well said.
