The resignation of the CEO of the California High-Speed Rail Authority after a two-year run plagued by an expenses scandal, spiraling costs and project delays has prompted a renewed focus on the future of the project.
In a letter sent to executives ahead of the Board of Directors' meeting on Thursday, Chief Executive Ian Choudri said he was stepping down to focus on "important personal and family priorities," according to a copy of an emailed resignation obtained by CalMatters.
"This has not been an easy decision, as leading the Authority has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding chapters of my professional life," he wrote.

just like firing Tosh is not easy, all the fat cats benefiting from the train boondoggle are hard to get rid of

That's an impressive analogy of two completely unrelated situations connected by absolutely nothing except your desire to complain about both.

This post and your obsession over CA High Speed Rail seems to be in the WRONG forum again.
This is clearly suited for the OT forum, but for some reason you keep posting about CA High Speed Rail in Growls.

Ok, I'll bite.

Who are the "fat cats" that benefit from Tosh remaining as head coach?
Please be specific.

You must really be up in arms about the Trump administration's reckless spending, then.

I think most people oppose wasting money. What I find interesting is how selectively some people apply that concern. Apparently, waste only matters when it's the other side doing the spending.

It's a prime example of conflation.
Makes no sense, let alone having been posted in the Growls Forum.
