Keeping Miller and Hegseth in charge is the best way for Trump to keep shrinking his coalition, so I support it.
Trump doesn't need a coalition
If he doesn't care about Republicans maintaining any of his vision, I guess not.
Trump is most popular with republicans in regards to his immigration policies. Republicans aren't stopping that fight and promoting the man behind his immigration policies isn't going to magically steer republicans away from it either
Trump WAS most popular with his immigration policy. Stephen Miller made it unpopular with how he executed it. Not with Republicans, with the public at large. If Republicans want to have a popular, lasting immigration policy, Miller is not the man to do it.
