Apparently Georgia law makers have voted to eliminate a jet fuel tax exemption over Delta's decision to pull support for the NRA. Atlanta is one of the busiest airports in the nation and is home to Delta. Also, DHL, Fed Ex, and UPS fly out of there. Don't forget that Amazon was looking at the Atlanta area as a home for their new headquarters and what that would mean for the airport, city tax revenue, and the jobs that would go with it. Can't imagine that Amazon would choose Georgia as their new location now. Why would an airline use Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport as a hub when the cost associated with that location just increased due to the elimination of the jet fuel tax exemption that was at $50 million? As you can imagine other states are reaching out to the airlines and Amazon. Where are the adults in the Georgia State Legislature?
