I seriously am hoping the 13 get to go to Moscow next week for the World Cup final, per Infantino's invitation.
The WC is supposed to be about global unification and celebration of "us", and so it would be awesome to see the globe have something to universally cheer about!
That said, I think it will be too quick a turn around to manage. While 4 are apparently out by now (presumably alive and unscathed), 9 are still in there. Meanwhile the finale is less than a week away. The surviving 13 will not only have to get out but medically checked and renourished, not to mention psychologically reconnecting with family, loved one, home, normalcy - before jet setting to Russia for a world stage and audience. BUT, I would be cool!
I'd picture a moment of recognition for the British divers who found them, other key rescuers, parade the boys onto a stage on the field to an eruption of cheers, as well as a moment of silence for the 38 yr old volunteer diver who died when his oxygen tank drained while he was diving.
