Live second-hand reports from Tulsa:
So, many of my in-laws have moved to Tulsa over the past ten years (long story beginning with a job transfer). My sister-in-law is a bit of a germaphobe and her husband works in hospitals about 10% of the time. They have three kids. Even though they would be considered apolitical (don't ask me how, in this day and age), they are pissed about the inevitable increase in the virus in their previously relatively pristine area.
Mother-in-law and father-in-law are both Dems (yes, there are some in Oklahoma). Just texted father-in-law and asked him if he was going to the rally. He shot back, "F*** off!
" (yes, with smiley face) "I hope they all get COVID."
