Actually, I willing to accept that your last paragraph generally. With a proviso that The Times knowingly doesn't make things-up, but has had scandals when, in fact, their reporters made stuff-up. I assume I don't need to provide links. The reporters lost their jobs. Don't think that anyone gets fired from The Post notwithstanding all the The Times refugees that are now at The Post.bearister said:

I ask one of you that still has the passion to write long essays on BI to challenge this false equivalency statement. WIAF is a smart guy and a nice guy so I think you can persuade him.
*My cut to the chase two cents worth: The NY Times often passes facts through a progressive filter; the NY Post often just makes shi@t up.
But I do think both papers slant the news for their agendas, and that didn't used to be the case.
