I made a post that I want to edit. I click on the edit button. I was able to edit the subject line but not text of the post. I tried this with three browsers on two different computers -- all the same. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a problem?

hopefully solved week ago, or for next time, here's the explanation:
o the top left corner's edit button for a while (days?) lets us change our *title* line only.
o click the lower right pencil stub to whack the main text again and again, then save.
