Davis and Coutts Pick Up Player of the Week Honors
Steven Coutts and Ashtyn Davis join other Golden Bears Evan Weaver and Luc Bequette as Pac-12 players of the week.

• Has played in all 10 games and punted 50 times for 2068 yards and a 41.4 average
• Has trapped opponents inside their 20-yard line 25 times to leed the Pac-12 and picked up only two touchbacks, while forcing opponents into fair catches on 19 occasions and registering six punts of 50-plus yards
• Punted a career-high tying eight times for 269 yards and a 33.6 average against North Carolina, pinning the Tar Heels inside their 20-yard line a career-high five times and forcing them into four fair catches
• Punted six times for 255 yards and a 42.5 average while pinning opponents inside their 20-yard line three times and forcing them into two fair catches at BYU
• Punted five times for 215 yards and a 43.0 average while pinning opponents inside their 20-yard line three times and forcing them into two fair catches against Idaho State

• Punted a collegiate career-high tying eight times for a career-high 351 yards and a 43.9 average at USC, pinning the Trojans inside their 20-yard line twice and forcing them into an opponents' career-high five fair catches
DEFENSIVE: Ashtyn Davis, Jr., S, California (Santa Cruz, Calif)
• Davis had two interceptions for the first time in his career including one that he ran back 35 yards for a score on Colorado's second drive of the game to key a 33-21 Cal victory. Davis returned his second interception in the second quarter 24 yards with the interception ending a Colorado drive at the Cal 21-yard line.
• The pick-six was the first of his career and one of two interceptions the Golden Bears returned for touchdowns on each of Colorado's first two drives to jump out to a 14-0 lead less than two minutes into the game.
• Davis added three tackles, one pass break up, and also returned four kickoffs for 82 yards and finished with a game-high 141 all-purpose yards.
• Davis now has four interceptions on the season and leads the Pac-12 while ranking tied for 14th nationally with an average of 0.36 interceptions per game.
