Bears Close to Wrapping Up Cheez-It Bowl Prep

Friday was Cal’s penultimate practice in Berkeley prior to Wednesday’s Cheez-It Bowl date with TCU in Phoenix. Offensive coordinator Beau Baldwin met with the media after the morning workout that was conducted under sunny skies.

“We are closer to the bowl game,” Baldwin said. “We really did a lot of the true game plan stuff today. We’ll do a lot of that tomorrow. And then by the time we fly out on Sunday we’ll have had the prep we need.
