Bears' QB Target Stroud Talks Upcoming Visits

February 14, 2019

In 2017 Rancho Cucamonga QB CJ Stroud was a 6-4 and 190 pound backup QB for the Cougars. He completed 20 of 39 attempts as sophomore, but was set to take over as the starter in 2018.

Last season Stroud, who’s now 6-5 and 210 pounds, completed 180 of 300 attempts for 2,342 yards and 19 TDs. He did that despite Sean Dollars (Oregon) and Jeremiah Criddell (Oklahoma) transferring to Mater Dei after the 2017 season.

Stroud’s may not be getting the attention Bryce Young, DJ Uiagalelei and a few other QBs in Southern California are getting, but he already has offers from Cal, Utah, Boise St.
