Cal Football Spring Practice Day 7: Gearing up for Contact Day

Day 7 of spring practice finally saw some sunny weather as the Bears practiced in pads and geared up for a padded contact day on Saturday.

"We're going to be going quite a bit tomorrow," said defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter. 

"Sometimes in practice, guys don't come out with the right attitude, but I liked our attitude today.
