Reinwald Glad to Be Back in Tight End Competiton

Gavin Reinwald was a productive member of the 2017  Cal football team as a newly-minted freshman tight end. Just as he was getting used to playing, he found himself so far down the depth chart last year that he sat out the entire season as a redshirt. Now he is trying to reclaim his spot during spring drills.

He arrived on the Cal campus two years ago just as the tight end position was returning to Berkeley.
