Lawndale corner Makell Esteen Talks Recruiting

6-2/170 Lawndale (Lawndale, CA) cornerback Makell Esteen is one of three Lawndale recruits Cal is targeting on the talent-rich Cardinals football team, along with wide receiver/defensive back Elijah Jackson and defensive end Tuli Tuipulotu.

Esteen is largely focused on West Coast teams at the moment, with UW and Oregon running strong and Cal in the mix, largely due to the talented DB’s relationship with Cal defensive backs coach Gerald Alexander.
