Coaching Candidate Profiles: Jason Kidd

No doubt, there is no other candidate we currently know of that brings more emotion to the Cal fanbase. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Kidd grew up playing on the courts of Oakland and when it came time to make a college decision, he snubbed blue-bloods like Kansas, Kentucky, and Arizona to stay home and attend Cal. He became an instant fan-favorite and revived a listless Cal hoops program, getting his No. 5 jersey retired in 2004.
