Monday Practice Report

Cal faces fifth ranked USC Saturday, and the Bears almost certainly will be without their fastest receiver, sophomore Demetris Robertson.

Robertson, who had seven catches in the first two games, did not suit up against Ole Miss on Saturday night because of an undisclosed injury. The word from the Cal people then was that an update would be provided Monday. But after practice on Monday none was forthcoming.

"Nothing yet," was all head coach Justin Wilcox would say after practice.
