Practice Day 8: Bears in Pads 2nd Straight Day

August 10, 2019

The Bears' run of perfect fall camp weather continued as the team practiced in pads for the second straight day at Memorial Stadium.

Despite being in full pads, the day didn't involve tackling or a lot of 11-on-11's but rather mainly red zone work and drills.

With presumed top two nose tackles Aaron Maldonado and Siu Fuimaono continuing to be excused indefinitely for personal reasons, the DL played largely 4 man fronts, with Lone Toailoa, Luc Bequette, Zeandae Johnson, Brett Johnson and Erick Nisich rotating through the middle, with a little bit of JH Tevis.
