  • QB Chase Garbers set a career high for passing yards and touchdown passes, finishing the game 23-for-35 for 357 yards and 4 TDs. His previous high was 238 yards through the air vs. UC Davis to open this season. Garbers became Cal's first QB to throw for at least 300 yards since Ross Bowers threw for 359 yards vs. Oregon State on Oct. 28, 2017. He also became the first Cal QB to throw for four TD passes since Bowers had four at North Carolina in 2017 season opener.
