Problems Mounting for Bears

Cal’s football season is officially coming off the rails. The record has dropped to 4-3 with a third straight loss, this one 21-17 to Oregon State at Memorial Stadium, and things could certainly get worse.

The Bears might be down to their third quarterback who has taken all of nine snaps in a game — all of which came on Saturday in a desperation situation.

The highly-touted defense is leaking yardage at the wrong times.
