Cal’s offense was once again underwhelming while the Bears defense couldn’t make the “easy” plays to seal the victory.    Here’s the film recap:

  • Cal had its most success running the ball on its first drive of the game and again the first drive of the second half.  Oregon State came out in a more traditional four man set on the drive. Later, they shifted to a pure 3-4 with a NG over Cindric and that seemed to stop their running game cold.
