Wednesday Practice Report: Saffle Out For Season

Following Wednesday's practice, Cal announced that junior linebacker Cameron Saffle will miss the rest of the season with a lower body injury. Saffle suffered the injury in the first game of the season at North Carolina and has not played since.

"It's always tough (with) a guy like that, who puts in so much time and works so hard at it," said head coach Justin Wilcox. "You really feel for him. These things aren't easy.
